A little bit about Bromley Bowling Club.......Bromley Bowling club is one of the oldest bowling clubs in Southern England and we have provided a focal point of sporting activities within the community for 118 years. The quality of our Green and general facilities ensures that we are frequently requested to host Divisional Semi finals; Finals and Kent County Matches. In 2007 we had the honour of hosting the County Divisional Pairs Semi and Finals in June; and in July we hosted the County Quarters and Semi finals of the Triples The club currently has 110 men, 35 lady playing members and 44 Social members. The club plays in the Kent County B.A. Competitions, The Private Clubs’ League; the LX, and London & Southern Counties B.A. Competitions. B.&B.D.B.A. League & knock-out competitions. In addition we have four teams (2 men’s & 2 ladies’ teams) in the North West Kent Leagues. In 2007 The men's team won "The President's Cup" In the PCL we won 12 matches and lost three. In the North West Kent Leagues the men’s Div. 1 team finished mid-table while the men's Div 4 team again won promotion and will play in Div.3 this year The Ladies also play in The Jubilee League. See last year's results. Monday evenings are “Club Nights,” and a mixed aggregate competition is run on Tuesdays and Fridays during the season. During the 2008 Season The Club will host the following events.:- 3rd July Kent C.B.A. versus Suffolk C.B.A. 13th July Kent County W.B.A. Finals Day 29th July Mayor Of Bromley Invitation Side Spectators are welcome at all events; please visit our fully re-furbished bar.
