A little bit about Bromley Bowling Club.......Bromley Bowling club is one of the oldest bowling clubs in Southern England and we have provided a focal point of sporting activities within the community for over 120 years. The quality of our Green and general facilities ensures that we are frequently requested to host Divisional Semi finals; Finals and Kent County matches and other important games. In 2009 We had the honour of hosting two Middleton Cup games; in July we hosted the L&S.C.B.A. v. W.P.G.B.A. match The club currently has 74 men, 28 lady playing members and 35 Social members. The club participates in the Kent County B.A. Competitions, The Private Clubs’ League and knock-out competitions; the LX, and London & Southern Counties B.A. Competitions. B.&.B. D.B.A. League & knock-out competitions. In addition we have three teams (two men’s & one ladies’ teams) in the North West Kent Leagues. In 2009 The men's team won "The President's Cup" In the PCL we won 6 matches and lost 6. In the North West Kent Leagues the men’s Div. 1 team were demoted while the men's Div 3 team ended mid-table. The Men's pairing of Ron Riley & Martin Alderson qualified for Worthing The Ladies play in The Jubilee League, and The Mollie Cleggett A mixed aggregate competition is run on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the season; these are afternoon sessions and commence at 2 p.m. The eventual winner of each session play one another for on Finals Day for "The Taylor Bowl" During the 2010 Season The Club will host the following important matches Spectators are assured of a warm welcome at all of these events
